PAMI
ha realizado diferentes proyectos de apoyo a la niñez y adolescencia
guatemalteca en riesgo social, y a partir de 1998, con especial
énfasis en el tema de niñez y adolescencia trabajadora.
Gracias al apoyo de
Fundación SKIP, PAMI ejecuta el Proyecto Semilla en
Panajachel, cuyos objetivo general es: Impulsar estrategias de
atención y acompañamiento a la Niñez y Adolescencia Trabajadora
organizada respecto sus actividades laborales en Panajachel, como
destino turístico, incorporando la promoción de la organización, la
participación protagónica, la capacitación técnico-empresarial y la
educación.

PAMI has realized
various projects since 1998 in support of Guatemalan children and
adolescents at risk in society, with special emphasis on child and
adolescent laborers.
 Thanks to support from the
SKIP Foundation, PAMI founded the Seed Project in Panajachel,
whose general objective is: Germinate strategies with the Child and
Adolescent Laborer to organize in respect to their work activities in
Panajachel, in relationship to tourism, incorporating the promotion of the
organization, protagonistic participation, technical and business training
and education.

Ha sido financiada por
USAID Guatemala, la Agencia STIFTUNG KINDERDORF PESTALOZZI -SKIP-
(Ayuda para la Infancia en el Exterior) de Suiza, “Fundación del
Servicio Exterior para la Paz y la Democracia” -FUNPADEM- de Costa Rica
y APPI/PNUD/UNOPS. Ha recibido apoyos puntuales de
Save the Children
Noruega, Fundación Rose, Tierra de Hombres Alemania, y de otras ONGs
como la ASDENA, la Coordinadora Institucional de Promoción por los
Derechos de la Niñez CIPRODENI y Pro Niño y Niña Centroamericanos –PRONICE-
entre otras.
PAMI
